here I am back from my "holidays". I've been back to school since Monday, yet, I just couldn't find the motivation to write. It's been quite some time since my last entry: So, where to start?
I was in Berlin over Christmas and New Year's and it was great. Unfortunately, I did not really take pictures, 'cos like always, I forget to take my camera with me. It's always lying around somewhere, but not in useful places.
Christmas I spent with my family and way too much food and candy. It was just like every year. Really relaxing. The Christmas shopping before, however, was not. I hated that and stupid me decided to go in Berlin. It would have been easier to go in Jyväskylä, the malls are never as full here, as they are in Berlin.
But yeah. I got everything I needed and Christmas could come.
I got some vouchers for clothes and CDs / DVDs. Aaand: I got a new laptop, co-financed by my dad. A lovely 17" MacBook Prop and I love it. It's great.
I was then spending some nice days with reading and looking after my nephew. It was really great to be around him that much, even though exhausting, too. Us two, also had dinner (self-made pizza. omnomnom.) and saw a movie with my cousins Meike and Tim. It was fun, to see them apart from family happenings. New Year's Eve I spent with my best friends and it was great. No big party, just being together, eating, them enjoying a few drinks (I stopped drinking booze altogether) and fireworks. But I hate fireworks. if they look nice: perfect. If they make noise: aweful. I also think that people had brought way too much stuff and it was hard to concentrate.
But yeah. Nice to see them it was.
As a goodbye to them, we also went to have Sushi one evening, as unfortunately, my 2.5 weeks home stay in Berlin were coming to an end.
After another shopping trip for supplies and candy, it was for me to visit my grand-parents a last time before leaving. And of course, after having bought candy the previous day, my granny bought me some, too.
Now I have way too much candy over here in Jyväskylä, but I guess, I'll find some volunteers to help me eat it :D
By now that I'm back here: School has started. Luckily, I have Fridays off in the first half of the semester, yet, here I am, in school. Gotta finish some stuff and it's easier to concentrate here than at home.
