Bday and stuff!
Heiho,
I'm actually doing a proper update with pictures and stuff, but I'm super busy so yeah . . .
But what happened? My Bday did and now I'm 22. I decided to stay 21, though, just +1 year experience :D and it was great, great, great!!!! We also went dancng at Ruma after the party. And Ines was here <3 So, veri meni nice! Apart from that? School, school, school AND we shot a promotional video for my project class on Friday, now we have to edit everything. Ein richtiges Update, inklusive Bilder. Was passiert ist? Mein Geburtstag :) Jetzt bin ich also 22, habe mir aber vorgenommen 21 zu bleiben, nur halt mit einem Jahr mehr Erfahrung :D und es war superdupertoll!!! Nach der Party waren wir noch im Ruma tanzen und Ines war auch da! Also alles in allem, sehr sehr schick :D
Sonst ist noch viel Arbeit für die FH angesagt, aber das kennen wir ja schon :)
Am Freitag haben wir einen kurzen Werbefilm für meine Projektklasse gedreht und jetzt muss bearbeitet werden.

And today I was dancing with Satu! We're going to Salsaton every Tuesday, it's a mixture of Salsa and Reggaeton and I love it. Together with swimming every Friday morning it's my new workout. :D
After dancing, I went to the book store, 'cos I heard there's a sale going on 3 books for 10€ is bought. Now I just have to find time to read them. Somehow, I also ended up at Alexi 13 and bought shoes there :D but after a 70% discount they were only 21€ and they are pure luv <3 Heute war ich mit Satu tanzen. Wir gehen jeden Dienstag zu Salsaton, einer Mischung aus Salsa und Reggaeton und es macht Spaß. Ich gehe neuerdings auch jeden Freitagmorgen tanzen.
Nach dem Tanzen war ich noch im Buchladen, weil sehr viel reduziert war und habe mir 3 Bücher für 10€ gekauft. Jetzt brauch ich nur noch die Zeit sie zu lesen. Danach bin ich dann irgendwie bei Alexi 13 gelandet und hab mir noch neue Schuhe gekauft :D aber nach 70% Rabatt kamen sie nur noch 21€ und sind so toll <3

English Only. Sorry.
Heiho people,
here I am back from my "holidays". I've been back to school since Monday, yet, I just couldn't find the motivation to write. It's been quite some time since my last entry: So, where to start?
I was in Berlin over Christmas and New Year's and it was great. Unfortunately, I did not really take pictures, 'cos like always, I forget to take my camera with me. It's always lying around somewhere, but not in useful places.
Christmas I spent with my family and way too much food and candy. It was just like every year. Really relaxing. The Christmas shopping before, however, was not. I hated that and stupid me decided to go in Berlin. It would have been easier to go in Jyväskylä, the malls are never as full here, as they are in Berlin.
But yeah. I got everything I needed and Christmas could come.
I got some vouchers for clothes and CDs / DVDs. Aaand: I got a new laptop, co-financed by my dad. A lovely 17" MacBook Prop and I love it. It's great.
I was then spending some nice days with reading and looking after my nephew. It was really great to be around him that much, even though exhausting, too. Us two, also had dinner (self-made pizza. omnomnom.) and saw a movie with my cousins Meike and Tim. It was fun, to see them apart from family happenings. New Year's Eve I spent with my best friends and it was great. No big party, just being together, eating, them enjoying a few drinks (I stopped drinking booze altogether) and fireworks. But I hate fireworks. if they look nice: perfect. If they make noise: aweful. I also think that people had brought way too much stuff and it was hard to concentrate.
But yeah. Nice to see them it was.
As a goodbye to them, we also went to have Sushi one evening, as unfortunately, my 2.5 weeks home stay in Berlin were coming to an end.
After another shopping trip for supplies and candy, it was for me to visit my grand-parents a last time before leaving. And of course, after having bought candy the previous day, my granny bought me some, too.
Now I have way too much candy over here in Jyväskylä, but I guess, I'll find some volunteers to help me eat it :D
By now that I'm back here: School has started. Luckily, I have Fridays off in the first half of the semester, yet, here I am, in school. Gotta finish some stuff and it's easier to concentrate here than at home.

Quickie :)
Just a quick, last update from me before I'll be off to Berlin next Sunday :) Christmas at home. I'm really looking forward to it.
Nur ein kurzer Eintrag bevor ich mich nächsten Sonntag auf nach Berlin mache =) Weihnachten in der Familie und ich freue mich.
I'm kinda relieved right now, as I had my last 3 exams last week :) and I already know that I passed the Economics/Financial Accounting class with a 5! So happy, especially as for except how to do the calculations, I didn't really have a clue. The Human Resource Management exam was just as weird as expected (or was it worse :D ) and Finnish was a joke. I stressed about verb conjugation without a reason.
On Friday I celebrated the "almost end of the semester" by going to Katse and seeing New Deadline. As always, acoustics sucked bad, but it was a veri meni great evening. Teambox at McD's included. The following stomache ache was not, but I survived. And the saying goes what doesn't kill you simply makes you stronger, right? ;D
Yesterday, I went some shopping with Tuksu, 'cos she needed new jeans. I really, really didn't wanna buy anything, but I wouldn't be me without buying anything xD So, I bought a really nice black coat from H&M which had a lovely 50% sale tag attached to it and cost me only 40 instead of 80€. Great success. In the evening, I went to Ruma for dancing and stuff, after some complications and way to high entrence fee or something like that, it was fun =)
Da ich diese Woche meine letzten 3 Prüfungen hatte, bin ich momentan einfach nur froh. Wirtschaft / Rechnungswesen ist schon mit 1 bestanden. Yay! :)Vor allem, da ich außer den Formeln nicht wirklich ne Peilung hatte :D. Personalmanagement war wie erwarten komisch, aber naja. Mir egal. Finnisch war sowieso viel zu einfach. Hab ich ohne Grund rumgestresst. Dummes ich.
Da das Semester ja nun fast zu Ende ist, sind wir am Freitag ins Katse, um uns New Deadline anzusehen. Die Akkustik war mal wieder unter aller Sau, aber es war trotzdem ein wirklich gelungener Abend.
Gestern, war ich mit Tuksu schoppen, denn sie brauchte eine neue Jeans. Ich bin mit der Einstellung "Ich kauf nix!" mit, aber ich wäre ja nicht ich, wenn ich nicht doch was gekauft hätte :D, So bin ich jetzt im Besitz eines tollen schwarzen Mantels, der eine nette -50%-Etikette dranbammeln hatte. Es kostete mich also nur 40€ und nicht 80 =)
Abends war ich dann nach einigen Komplikationen und dem dummen Eintritt endlich im Ruma angekommen. War auch sehr toll.
In fact, I'm liking the nearing end of semester waaay too much. 'cos I did nothing for the Acadenic Research stuff this weekend. And I really, really gotta work on my literature review. But: Mañana, I shall do it :D
Genaugenommen, finde ich das nahende Ende des Semesters viel zu toll. Ich muss nämlich noch zwei Hausarbeiten schreiben und hab für die gar nix gemacht. Dabei muss ich wirklich an dem Literaturteil arbeiten. Aber: Morgen dann!!
And guess what: I finally did my laundry. Why is this so awesome? you may ask. Because I'm already starting to stress, about what I'll take along with me for the 2,5weeks at home. Unfortunately, I only have 20kg and I'll prolly bring back with me more than I took from Finland . . . This so not gonna workout -.- at least all my stuff is clean and I'll only wear stuff this week, I already know I won't take along. But then there is still about 3/4 of my closet left, which I can't take all along with me. Not to mention shoes and bags and aaaaarrrrrggggghhhh. I already hate packing. And I hate the decisions coming with it :O And don't you dare laugh about me now!
UUUUUUUUUUND: Ich habe heute endlich mal wieder Wäsche gewaschen! And das ist so bemerkenswert wieso? wird sich jetzt sicherlich der oder die eine oder andere fragen. Weil ich schon jetzt absolut ratlos bin, was ich denn für die 2,5 Wochen in Berlin mitnehmen soll. Ich darf ja nur 20kg Gepäck haben und es kommt wahrscheinlich wieder mehr mit mir zurück, als ich mitgenommen habe . . . Das wrd sowas von nach hinten losgehen -.- wenigstens ist jetzt alles sauber, und ich zieh die nächste Woche nur Sachen an, wo ich schon weiß, dass ich die nicht mitnehmen werde. Aber dann sind da immer noch ca. 3/4 meines Kleiderschranks und die liegen definitiv ÜBER der 20kg-Marke :O und dann noch Schuhe und Taschen und arrggghhh. Ich finde das Packen jetzt schon doof. Und immer diese Entscheidungen, was denn nun mit darf. Und wehe, es lacht jetzt einer über mich

In der Weihnachtsbäckerei . . .
Here I am :) I'm not gonna give any excuse for the long absence, school was more important. Accordingly, not much happened. School, assignments, exams, awesome law lectures (although exhausting and from 16.15-19.15ish).
The law lectures are being held by a guest lecturer from New York, John Fitzgerald (a lawyer). Even though he tends to jump from topic to topic, it's still very interesting and he talks about all the important stuff. It's great that school spends huge amounts of money for this! It's a pity that basically there's only people from year and then from the 3rd.
Da wär ich dann mal wieder. Ohne Ausreden. Studium war wichtiger als der Blog. Hier ist aber auch nichts passierts. FH, Hausarbeiten, Prüfungen und supertolle Juravorlesungen (jaaaa, richtig gelesen TOLL! zwar auch ermüdenend weil von 16.15 bis so gegen 19.15 rum). Der Herr Dozent Anwalt aus New York namens John Fitzgerald springt zwar gerne mal von einem Thema zum nächsten, aber es ist wirklich interessant und er spricht alle wichtigen Themen an. Ich denke, dass es wiklich nett von meiner FH ist, so viel Geld dafür auszugeben! Schade, dass außer meinem Jahrgang und dem darüber kaum einer teilnimmt.
But what did I do apart school stuff? Well, on 21st of November Minna, Tuksu, Super TeoTeo and me went to Hämeenlinna to record this acoustic session for a band, which will appear on the BonusDVD of their upcoming album. Naturally, the following week, Pietu, Pyry and me did nothing apart from editing that stuff. I won't go into detail of the hassle and school facilities and computers (I have never seen Macs failing to this amount!), but I am not anymore able to listen to this band's music after editing (and I'm sure Pietu, Pyry and Super TeoTeo are with me). But to be honest, this was a project wihtin my project class, so it kinda was school stuff, too :D
Und mal vom Studium abgesehen? Öhm jaaaaa. Achso, am 21.11. waren Minna, Tuksu, Super TeoTeo und ich in Hämeenlinna. Dort haben wir eine Akkustiksession für eine Band gefilmt. Die geht dann auf die BonusDVD des kommenden Albums. Logischerweise haben Pietu, Pyry und ich in der folgenden Woche nicht viel gemacht, außer das Material zu bearbeiten. Details ausgelassen und die Probleme und die FH-Räume und Computer (Nie, aber auch nie hab ich MAcs sooft abstürzen sehen), aber ich bin mir sicher, diese Band hör ich mir nicht mehr freiwillig an (und ich bin mir sicher, dass Pietu, Pyry und Super TeoTeo genauso denken). Aber um ehrlich zu sein. Das gehörte eigentlich zu einer Projektklasse, ist also immer Studiumkrams :D

I have to admit, I‘m currently awesomely boring. I haven‘t really been out since Tampere :O I was actually thinking about going to that one party, but: brain said no :D I was just too tired. Pasta and DVD and early sleep it was.
But this week has once again been way too busy with school stuff. I just feel like relaxing.
HOWEVER, don‘t you worry about me: I was at dear Roosa‘s birthday party yesterday and it was veri meni nice to be there! Had too much cake, though :D Lactose --> my tummy disapproved
Ich muss zugeben, momentan bin ich echt langweilig. Seitdem ich Tampere war, bin ich nicht mehr wirklich ausgegangen. Eigentlich wollte ich zu einer Party, aber mein Körper war dagegen: MÜDE! Gab dann happahappa und ne DVD und früh ins Bett.
Aber nachdem Uni dieses Semester extrem stressig ist, ist nix mehr als relaxen drin. Am Wochenende ist dann Lerntagebücher beenden angesagt. Und die Geburtstagsfeier der lieben Roosa. Da war ich nämlich gestern. War sehr schön. Und ich hab viel zu viel Kuchen gegessen. Laktose --> Mein Magen war dagegen.
Apart from being busy, I was at JAMKin Tutuksi Päivä (Get to know JAMK-day) on Friday and was helping out there by giving a small presentation of my Degree Programme from a student perspective. I seemingly did well, the Head of Department told my main lecturer it was great, so :DDDD
Wenn man den Stress mal zur Seite legt, war ich am Freitag beim Kennenlern-Tag meiner Fachhochschule. Dort habe ich eine kurze Präsentation über mein Studienfach aus der Sicht einer Studentin (nämlich meine ;) ) gehalten. Ich denke es war gut, der Fachbereichsleiter fand es toll genug, es meiner Hauptdozentin mitzuteilen :DDDD
After I was at that presentation I went to get some grapes (shit expensive, but pure love) and didn‘t wanna go home straight, so I went window-shopping at H&M. Bad idea, most people who know would guess. BUT I really only bought a lip gloss (I don‘t need, jajaaaaa :P ), but it smellt really yummy of peach and a bt yoghurt-y and it was only 2€, so don‘t anyone start complaining! Overall I can only recommend to go to H&M for nail polish, especially: awesome colours and good quality for 4€ only. Unfortunately, unlike in Finland, I‘ve so far hardly seen an H&M in Germany which has all the make-up stuff. (I only know H&M Beauty Box @ the Potsdamer Platz Arkaden.)
Nach der Präsentation hab ich mir dann Weintrauben gekauft (teuer, aber einfach Liiiiiebe) und wollte nicht wirklich gleich nach Hause. Also bin ich zu H&M Schaufenster gucken. Schlechte Idee, gaaaaaanz schlecht, werden jetzt die sagen, die mich kennen, ABER ich hab wirklich nur ein Lipgloss gekauft (das ich nicht brauche, jajaaaaaaa :P ), aber es richt ganz lecker nach Pfirsich und joghurtig und kam nur 2€, also spart euch sämtliche Beschwerden! Alles in allem kann ich es eigentlich nur empfehlen zu H&M zu gehen, vor allem wegen Nagellack. Tolle Farben, gute Qualität und 4€ für relative große Fläschchen. Leider scheint es ja in Deutschland (nicht wie in Finnland) nicht sehr viele H&Ms zu geben, die Make-up haben. Ich kenn jedenfalls nur die Beauty Box in den Potsdamer Platz Arkaden.
This kinda led me to looking through my make-up, if something can be throw away, my awesome Apocalyptica cello box with all my make-up (lots of it). The tissues are there to show HOW big it is.
Und da ich dann irgendwie mal durch meine ganze Schminke durch bin, ob denn nicht was weg kann, hier meine ganz tolle Apocalyptica-Cello-Box, wo ich alles drin aufbewahre. Die Tachentücher zum Größenvergleich WIE groß das Teil denn ist.

And I‘m really sorry for the lack of pictures. I misplaced my camera‘s usb cable AND my card reader (AGAIN). And I also can‘t find the loading thing for my akku (AGAIN). Go me.
Es tut mir wirklich Leid, dass ich so wenige Bilder habe, aber ich hab (MAL WIEDER) mein USB-Kabel für meine Digi, mein Kartenlesegerät und mein Ladekabel verlegt. Jippijeee.
